Subscription Terms

1. What you are subscribing to

TooledUp provides automation and concierge setup for trade businesses (phone agent tuning, portfolio workflows, Xero reminders, and related services). Your subscription is billed monthly through Stripe after any applicable free trial.

3. Dual billing

TooledUp and ServiceM8 are separate products with separate invoices. ServiceM8 charges you directly for job management and phone connectivity. TooledUp charges you for automation, setup labour included in onboarding, and ongoing tuning. Advertised “all-in” figures combine both bills for convenience only.

4. Setup labour and minimum term

Concierge onboarding includes setup labour (ServiceM8 account build, Xero link, phone agent configuration) with $0 upfront on the standard path. That setup labour is a one-time value — not the minimum subscription term.

Your TooledUp subscription has a minimum term of 24 paid months from your first paid TooledUp charge. The full-term subscription value is $2664 on Basic (24 × $111) or $4104 on Pro (24 × $171).

Optional: you may pay the setup labour upfront to pursue ServiceM8 Setup & Training Rebate eligibility. Paying upfront does not remove the 24-month minimum TooledUp term.

5. Early exit fee

If you cancel TooledUp before completing 24 paid months, an early exit fee may be invoiced equal to: (24 minus months already paid at TooledUp) × your TooledUp monthly rate for each month. Months billed at the Pro rate count at $171/mo; months at Basic count at $111/mo. Downgrading Pro to Basic is permitted; the fee uses the rate you actually paid each month. Automated clawback invoicing may be processed manually during early access.

6. Cancellation and billing portal

You may cancel or update payment details through the Stripe customer portal linked from your TooledUp dashboard. Cancelling stops future TooledUp charges but does not automatically cancel ServiceM8. Early exit fees, if applicable, are separate from your last subscription invoice.

7. AI Voicemail service

The AI Voicemail service is a standalone answering service billed at $49/mo, month-to-month, with no minimum term. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges from the end of your current paid month. It answers calls you forward to a shared service number, takes a message, and (where enabled) can book or transfer the call.

Call recording & consent. To take messages, the service records and transcribes calls. Callers are told at the start of the call that they have reached an automated answering service and that the call is recorded. Because you choose to forward your business line to the service, you are responsible for ensuring that recording callers in this way is lawful for your business and callers. The service runs on a shared number pool and is provided on a best-efforts basis; it is not a guaranteed or emergency call-answering service and should not be relied on for urgent or life-safety calls.

8. Consumer guarantees and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our refund and cancellation practices are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
